Yes, My Queen – Dragon Age Fan-Fiction Erotic Romance Short Story

Note: Excerpt is SFW.

Loghain entered Rowan’s bedchamber only to see that Maric already stood in the room. Loghain had to admit that being thus summoned urgently by Rowan had surprised him, but he wasn’t expecting Maric would be there too. He had hoped Rowan wanted to steal a moment alone with him, finally, after years of internally lamenting over the way things had ended between them.
Loghain and Maric exchanged a look before the King quickly turned away again.
Rowan’s expression was stern, while Maric’s was inscrutable. Loghain took a few tentative steps into the room and shut the door behind him.
Rowan acknowledged them both with a glance and a nod. ‘I’ve summoned you both here because things must change.’ She began to pace. ‘This has gone on for far too long. The cold that has settled between us, the distance between you and me, Loghain, the tension between me and Maric.’
She stopped and looked at both of them. ‘You are always in competition with each other and yet never daring to express what you truly feel, and as a result, you both hurt me with your resentment towards each other, towards me, despite the façade.’
Tears speckled her eyes before she blinked them away. ‘So we’re going to settle things once and for all, we’re going to settle things tonight,’ her voice grew menacing, ‘and we’re going to settle things my way.’
‘Rowan,’ Maric said gently, ‘we’ve already tried talking. It’s best if Loghain and I continue our friendship as though what happened between the three of us never did.’
‘You call that a friendship?’ Loghain chanced.
‘You still care about me else you wouldn’t be here,’ Maric countered.
Loghain conceded. He cared, but Rowan was right, there was a cold between them. ‘Our friendship is no longer the same, Maric.’
‘Do you miss it?’ asked Maric.
Loghain wasn’t sure. He looked back at Rowan. ‘Maric’s right, we’ve tried talking before. It’ll only open old wounds.’
‘That’s why we’re not going to settle this by talking,’ declared Rowan.
Loghain sighed, realising. ‘You want us to fight, don’t you? You want us to duel for you.’
‘I want you to agree to do this my way,’ stated Rowan. ‘I want both of you to promise me you will not argue, you will not talk back, you will attempt to follow my request to completion.’
Maric scowled and opened his mouth to protest.
Rowan raised a finger to stop him. ‘You will promise this to your Queen, for we are settling this now.’
Loghain glanced at Maric who bowed his head. Rowan stared at Loghain pointedly. She was so beautiful, he missed her, missed caressing her, he wanted her, needed her, and he had let her go…for him, for the man standing next to him.
Loghain downcast his eyes. ‘Yes, my Queen,’ he said softly. ‘I promise to do what you wish of me to make amends and make this right.’ He met her eyes and she nodded, her expression softening.
She turned her head to Maric. ‘Maric?’
Maric hesitated, then, ‘Fine, all right. I promise it too.’ He quickly looked at Loghain with what Loghain thought was hope in his eyes.
Loghain felt a pang. He cared for his King, loved his friend, but they had hurt each other so much, it had changed their friendship entirely.
‘Good,’ Rowan breathed. She stared at both of them. ‘Strip.’
