The Wedding RPG

This is The Wedding RPG I wrote for my very own wedding from back in June 2014.

As a note, about the RPG, it’s a bit of a Fan-fiction story. My wedding was a Medieval & Star Wars themed wedding, so the RPG I wrote takes place in some sort of fan-fictional Star Wars Universe of the Old Republic era. At the wedding, we read the story out loud. Each table had their little stick and numbers to hold up to select the choice they wanted. We went with the majority rules rule. It’s a short little RPG, all cute and stuff, but with dozens of endings. Now you can enjoy it with ALL its endings and check out all its possibilities.

Fan-Fiction RPG style story written by Celinka Serre, for the Celinka Serre and François St-Maurice Wedding in June 2014.

     Having been called to an urgent meeting by the Jedi Council, Binky and Frank decide to move their wedding reception to the Jedi Temple*.
     However, they’ve missed their transport and must travel by foot to go join their guests and the Council.
     Before they depart, they open a footlocker*. The footlocker contains three items, but they must only take one.
     Which item do they take?
          1) A lightsaber*.
          2) A cute little plush*.
          3) A pool noodle*.

     They head out with their item down a narrow path. They come across a durasteel wall with no apparent doors and it is too high to climb. It would take too long to double back.  So they:
     If 1 – Cut their own door through with the lightsaber.
     If 2 – Use the plush’s powers of cuteness  to detect a hidden door.
     If 3 – Throw the pool noodle up, sending it over to the other side to alert anyone that they need assistance.

     However, once on the other side of the wall, they realize they are surrounded by Gamorrean* thugs working for the Hutt Cartel*, who are intent on taking the couple’s rare item as their prize.
     Binky and Frank begin to fight the Gamorreans*, using hands and fists and Force powers, and of course, their item, whichever way they can.
     They finally defeat them when Binky:
          1) Uses Force Wave to push the thugs, stunning them unconscious and giving her and Frank enough time to run off.
          2) Uses Force Persuade to mind trick the thugs into believing that Binky and Frank are the Hutt’s secret agents and as it happens they need a message to get delivered to the Hutts, therefore the thugs run off.
          3) Uses Force Choke to kill them all.

     Binky gains:
     If 1 – Light side points.
     If 2 – No points and remains neutral.
     If 3 – Dark side points.

     Getting closer to the Temple, Binky and Frank encounter a female Twi’lek* who mistakes them for Sith* and is afraid they will attack her.
     Frank settles the matter by saying:
          1) ‘’It’s okay, we’re Jedi. We’re on our way to the Temple for our wedding. You can join us if you like.’’
          2) ‘’We’re Jedi, can’t you tell! We’re late for an important appointment.’’
          3) ‘’That’s right and now you die!’’

     If 1 – Frank gains Light Side points and the Twi’lek joins their group.
     If 2 – The Twi’lek apologizes and hurries away,
     If 3 – Frank kills the Twi’lek and gains Dark Side points.

     Arriving at the Jedi Temple, they encounter a Sith* who proclaims he has come to crash the party.

A – With the lightsaber, the three make short work of the Sith, however, the group of vengeful Gamorreans return. That’s easily fixed when Binky uses the Force to throw her lightsaber across the group of thugs, disabling them in one blaze of glory.

B and C – With the lightsaber, they begin fighting the Sith. When the group of vengeful Gamorreans return, they deflect attention off themselves onto the Sith. Their enemies now busy fighting each other, Binky and Frank can make their escape.

D – Thankfully, the thugs return, distracting the Sith and attacking him, now believing him to have the item they seek. So Binky and Frank quickly hide the lightsaber and, accompanied by their Twi’lek friend, make their escape.

E and F – Thankfully the thugs return. Upon seeing the Sith with HIS lightsaber, they begin to attack him, claiming he has the item they seek. This allows for Binky and Frank to quickly hide their lightsaber and make their escape.

G – With the lightsaber, the three make short work of the Sith, Binky using Force powers to fight him, the Twi’lek distracting him by bouncing around with her nimble body and Frank using the lightsaber. The fight quickly over, the three can then hurry on quickly.

H and I – With the lightsaber, Binky and Frank make short work of the Sith, Binky using Force powers to fight him and Frank using the lightsaber. The fight quickly over, the couple can then hurry on quickly.

J – The plush hypnotizes the Sith with its powers of cuteness, rendering it unable to hate such a cute little thing. Bewildered, the Sith lays down his weapon and is thus turned to the lightside. When the vengeful group of thugs approach, the Sith battles them for his new allies, allowing the trio to make their escape.

K and L – The plush hypnotizes the Sith with its powers of cuteness, rendering it unable to hate such a cute little thing. Bewildered, the Sith lays down his weapon and is thus turned to the light side. When the vengeful group of thugs approach, the Sith battles them for his new allies, allowing the bride and groom to escape.

M – The Gamorrean thugs return eyeing the plush and its cuteness curiously, realizing they’d been mind tricked. Binky protects the plush while the Twi’lek diverts attention to the Sith. The thugs overwhelm the Sith, allowing our trio of heroes to escape.

N and O –  The Gamorrean thugs return, eyeing the plush and its cuteness curiously. Before they can realize they’ve been mind tricked, the plush hypnotizes them further. Now they want to protect and defend its cuteness, so they attack the Sith, thus allowing Binky and Frank to make their escape.

P – The plush hypnotizes the Sith with its powers of cuteness, rendering it unable to hate such a cute little thing. Bewildered, the Sith lays down his weapon and is thus turned to the lightside. Not wanting to be the third wheel to the couple, the Twi’lek asks the Sith to be her date and accompany her to Binky and Frank’s wedding reception. Thus two happy couples hurry to the Temple.

Q and R – The plush hypnotizes the Sith with its powers of cuteness, rendering it unable to hate such a cute little thing. Bewildered, the Sith lays down his weapon and is thus turned to the light side. Not wanting to be impolite, the couple offer the Sith a seat at a table at the reception. Happily, the Sith accepts.

S – They hack at the SIth with the pool noodle. Having never seen one before, he wonders at its powers. When the Gamorrean thugs return and vie to get it, the Sith won’t allow it, he wants to claim it for himself. While the Sith and Gamorreans are fighting and arguing, the Twi’lek sneakily places it on her head, to pretend it’s part of her lekku (head-tails) and the trio sneak off quietly.

T and U – They hack at the Sith with the pool noodle. Having never seen one before, he wonders at its powers. When the Gamorrean thugs return and vie to get it, the Sith won’t allow it and he wants to claim it for himself. While the Sith and Gamorreans are busy fighting and arguing, the bride and groom sneak off quietly, carrying the pool noodle away with them.

V – They hack at the Sith with the pool noodle. Having never seen one before, he wonders at its powers. When the Gamorrean thugs return, they vie to protect their ‘’so-called’’ allies, still believing them to work for the Hutts. This allows for the trio to make their escape.

W and X – They hack at the Sith with the pool noodle. Having never seen one before, he wonders at its powers. When the Gamorrean thugs return, they vie to protect their ‘’so-called’’ allies, still believing them to work for the Hutts. This allows for the couple to make their escape.

Y – They hack at the Sith with the pool noodle. Having never seen one before, he wonders at its powers, yet is unabated during the fight. The Twi’lek then grabs the pool noodle, suddenly inspired, and holds it up like a pole and begins dancing, having once been a Twi’lek dancer in a cantina. The Sith is puzzled and momentarily distracted, long enough for Binky and Frank to stun him with the Force. The three then are able to make their escape.

Z and ZZ –  They hack at the Sith with the pool noodle. Having never seen one before, he wonders at its powers. They use Force Horror to make him believe that it will kill him. The Sith puts his hands to his head and runs away moaning ‘’Not a pool noodle, noooooo!’’

CONCLUSION: Thus Binky and Frank finally make it to the wedding reception and Council meeting at the Jedi Temple.*
