Ravas’Din and Lord Void – SWTOR Character Backstories

Some new character backstories are up on the website, but beware, these contain spoilers for my SWTOR fan-fiction series. Here is a preview for Ravas’Din and Lord Void.

Meet the Sith who wishes to bring the light side into the Empire, and the Sith Lord who becomes Head of the Dark Council and an ally of sorts to Mandalore and certain specific Jedi.

Ravas’Din was originally created as an additional alt and recently is depicting the character Ravas in my SWTOR Fan-fiction series, introduced in later stories.

Ravas’Din’s name is in Elvhen, from the Dragon Age world. Din means “the dead”, while the meaning of Ravas is domewhat unknown, derived from aravas. The latter appears in the phrase Mala taren aravas, which means “Your mind journeys”. Aravas would then be “journeys”, as Mala is “Your”, and taren is “mind”. I interpret aravas as the plural form of ravas. While other words also mean “journey”, this type of journey may be in dreams or spiritual as opposed to physical and tangible. Ravas’Din’s name thus to me means “The Journey of the Dead” and has to do with the subconscious mind more than physical death, but it could also be a spiritual journey regarding death in any form.

His name aside, he is a light side Sith Marauder who wishes to change the Empire from within. (Continues.)

Void is a powerful Sith from the Empire. In-game Young Void (looks younger than what I want to depict in Photoshop for Story Void), is a Sith Warrior, DPS. Story Lord Void is the same, and a prominent member of the Dark Council at the time of his introduction in Story 7. He shortly later becomes the Head of the Dark Council, and also becomes an ally of sorts to the group of Jedi and Mandalorians protecting the Force.

Lord Void has much backstory that if said here would give too many spoilers away, but needless to say, he rose to power quickly, uses Sith powers to maintain his looks (even if depictions of him will include the addition of mild wrinkles in some areas of his face), and Story Void has the power of a Holocron; its nature is revealed in the story. (Continues.)

Lian and Quar’zun – SWTOR Character Backstories

Some new character backstories are up on the website, but beware, these contain spoilers for my SWTOR fan-fiction series. Here is a preview for Lian and Quar’zun.

Discover the Jedi healer and warrior who became a Council member and master at a young age, and his father’s friend, a fellow Jedi Council master, who falls to the dark side.

Lian is a blue Twi’lek with many great healing abilities. He is also a powerful Jedi warrior who becomes a master and member of the Jedi Council very quickly. He is introduced in Story 3 of the fan-fiction series. His last name is a revelation on his family ties to another character who appears in Stories 1 and 2, Jedi Master Juun Kloh, also a healer.

Lian befriends the group of Jedi vying to protect the galaxy from the True Sith and discovers unique healing abilities which could help him contribute to healing the Force and saving the galaxy. In later stories, an injury results in his left lekku being cut in half. He also later falls in love with, and marries, Nriwe, a Mandalorian green Twi’lek, who is depicted by my in-game character Isabella. (Continues.)

Quar’zun is a Jedi master and Jedi Council member. He is a powerful warrior, also a Jedi Guardian. He was close friends with Juun Kloh. He was a mentor for Brenum, Trylia, Shadie and Fane, and trained Josur (depicted by Desmond) for a time on certain missions.

Quar’zun was always very curious about the dark side, wanting to understand it better. His Story version is introduced in Story 4, and appears briefly here and there. In Story 10, he begins to show signs of spiraling towards the dark side, though it is very subtle… (Continues.)

Wapita, Vax and Mildred – SWTOR Character Backstories

Some new character backstories are up on the website, but beware, these contain spoilers for my SWTOR fan-fiction series. Here is a preview for Wapita, Vax, and Mildred.

Meet a rival Mandalorian who has a thing for the Rattataki Imperial Agent, and the Mandalorian who became a Smuggler before earning his title as clan leader among the Mandalorian Blockade.

Wapita is a Mandalorian from Clan Dargoza who later becomes the clan’s leader. He is human and is introduced early on in the seires. His clan is the rival clan of Clan Kandera. Clan Kandera is Talyc’s clan, who accepted Jedi into its clan. Wapita and Talyc are always at odds, trying to prove their clan the better one. However, the two later come to a truce of sorts and come to respect each other. It takes time to mend bridges, as all rivalries do, but the two eventually get there. After all, they are both Mandalorians and honour their people’s creed. (Continues.)

Vax is a Rattataki, introduced in Story 8 as a new Mandalorian recruit. He has history with Talyc, for they dated many years back before Vax disappeared on him without a trace. In reality, Vax is an Imperial Agent, Cypher Five, which the other characters in the story learn quickly. When Vax is on mission, he joins Clan Dargoza. It is clear that Vax and Wapita have a thing for each other, though it is not expressed until much later in the series. (Continues.)

Mildred is another human Mandalorian, who left Mandalore as a teenager to rebel against his parents’ expectations of him. He joined a group of smugglers and quickly moved up ranks, eventually becoming their captain. But he longed to be back with his people, unable to remove the Mandalorian that lived within him. He had always wanted to be a clan leader, but did not wish to go back to the clan he had once been a part of. (Continues.)
