Shadie & Companions (SWTOR Fanfic Photoshop Experiments)

Shaide, Knarf, Brenum and Trylia are all characters from my SWTOR Star Wars fan-fiction series, and are currently all captives on Relsor’s flagship.

Knarf is cosplayed by my husband, while Brenum is a SWTOR character. There were many layers to this one, as I had to place the armour and Brenum’s arms, make adjustments for the positioning. Also, With three lightsabers in play and their reflection, I had to figure out how to appropriately make their light reflect without hindering the reflection of the other. Finally I went with attaching an extra lightsaber glow duplicates to each of these men’s layers. It worked.

Trylia is a Togruta, here held in captivity by a dark side energy Force stasis field, while Relsor is taunting her. The character I use for Trylia does not have that same skin colour, so I had to use colour replacement tool for her skin and her lekku. Aside from that, it was basically slapping the characters on a background, with some additional lightning layers. As always, I adjust the lighting and colour for my characters and the background according to the scene.

This one is a bit of a spoiler, if you prefer to skip it. Shadie is cosplayed by me, and here Relsor’s mind is being more-or-less taken over by Fane through meditation abilities. I duplicated Relsor’s head a couple of times and played around with the opacity, and then placed Fane’s head, lowering the opacity, to give the desired effect.

Chapter Two – Healers of the Force (Star Wars SWTOR Fan-Fiction)

Warning: The following chapter contains mature subject matter, which may be triggering to some readers. Reading discretion is advised.

Relsor chose to make his rounds privately to speak with his Jedi prisoners. He decided to keep Shadie for last, and chose to visit Knarf first. As eager as he was to speak with the Togruta Jedi, he felt an affinity towards Knarf and wanted to see how the now Jedi slicer was getting on.
Relsor had waited a few days before visiting his prisoners; the isolation was part of his plan and was crucial to ensure that Shadie would begin her descent back towards the dark side. Besides, within the dark side energy stasis, there was no risk of any of them being able to escape. Relsor had hence all the time he needed to move his plan forward; He had only needed to quell his own eagerness to unlock the secrets he needed to unlock. He knew his plan would take time.
Given that he had momentarily blanked out the other day and how he suspected Jedi Master Lian was behind it, he had decided to let his prisoners suffer in isolation a little bit longer. However, now Relsor could no longer quell his eagerness to speak with them and would no longer wait. Of course, he wouldn’t let that show on his face, nor in the Force.
He entered the room where Knarf was being held. The slicer turned his head to look at him, he was smiling. Relsor scowled.
‘You don’t suppose you have anything more comfortable than this, do you?’ said Knarf.
Relsor simply looked at him, blinking a few times. ‘I think right there how you are is how I prefer you,’ said Relsor.
Knarf laughed. ‘You almost sound like Shadie.’ His glance drifted into the distance. ‘You know, before we arrived here, in her meditation chamber… There’s just something about that room. And the walls have dampeners too, so anyone outside the room can’t hear us. So Shadie can scream as loudly as she wants and I can make her go as crazy with pleasure as I want and…
‘Enough! Stop it, Knarf.’ Relsor pinched the bridge of his nose. ‘I’m not interested in hearing about how you and Shadie pleasured each other before boarding my ship.’
‘Oh, but I was just getting to get good part,’ said Knarf.

* * *

Relsor stared at him, incredulous, his mouth agape. Knarf smiled, biting his lips.
            ‘There’s a pillow in that room, and…’
            ‘No,’ said Relsor. ‘Spare me.’
            ‘Suit yourself,’ Knarf giggled.
Relsor just looked at him and put a hand to his forehead, shaking his head. Knarf would be damned if he let the Chiss Sith get to him with fear for his Lady. The best thing he could do right now was think about how he’d made love to her and keep that in his mind as a reminder of their love, their strong bond, their Force-bond of love. He supposed it worked, because Relsor left without saying another word. Knarf laughed.
He looked back at the table where his weapons and helmet lay. He had gotten rid of the Sith quickly enough, he could focus again on trying to access the helmet’s comchannel activation keys. It had occurred to him, as the Sith had installed him in this uncomfortable stasis contraption, that if he could use the Force on his helmet, he could potentially communicate with Talyc, provided his friend had his helmet nearby. He knew Talyc would need a lot of rest and he hoped he was okay. He also knew Talyc would be in good hands with Fane and Lian on Tython.
Knarf concentrated, and reached out with the Force, feeling the inside of his helmet, feeling the HUD system, he blinked as though blinking here would do the same as blinking in the helmet. Nothing happened. He closed his eyes and focused on a different area instead. He reached, pushed, pulled, trying to simply access the part of the HUD that would activate the comchannel. He heard a small clicking sound before losing his concentration on it. He had been able to access it! His excitement had caused him to break the connection, he knew. This was a beginning.
Knarf closed his eyes and focused some more. If he could hold it for longer, if he could hold it without closing his eyes, then he could relay everything that went on in this room to his friends.

Relsor & the True Sith (SWTOR Fanfic Photoshop Experiments)

Relsor is the leader of the True Sith faction in my SWTOR Star Wars Fan-Fiction story. He is of the Chiss species. His right hand man is Perce, leader of the Followers of Kromus, and Jassahmi is another True Sith, a Mirialan.

For the following image, I took screenshots of my SWTOR characters, giving some of them specific expressions, and placed them on a SWTOR background, another screenshot I took. For Jassahmi’s little smile, since she was serious, I used Liquify in Photoshop.

For this next one, I took a screenshot of the SWTOR alt I use for Relsor, placed him on a background, adjusted his arms a bit, and added the lightsabers, adding lightning to them. By now, creating lightsabers and lightning have become second nature to me in Photoshop, I am working on perfecting the technique to make them look better.

Awgro is a Sith apprentice of the Empire who has been stationed on Relsor’s flagship as part of the forced alliance. He was introduced in the previous story. I took a screenshot of the character and placed him on a background simply. In Photoshop, selecting characters and placing them elsewhere has also become second nature. It is sometimes time consuming, but not very complicated to do. Awgro’s master, Lord Void whom we will meet in the next story, is a member of the Dark Council.

Prologue & Chapter One – Healers of the Force (Star Wars SWTOR Fan-Fiction)

Moments following the Rescue mission and the capture of Shadie.

Relsor sat in his comfortable chair in his viewport chamber, where he had just watched the Jedi be taken away to their stasis chambers where they would be held captive. The room served as a secondary command centre, and as a sparring room as well. He relaxed, satisfied. It had been an ordeal to capture them and he would have preferred that Fane and his lover were still onboard, but he would make do with the four Jedi he had in his captivity.
Perce sat to his right. Relsor could sense his displeasure at the fact that Knarf had so wilfully locked them up by slicing into the ship’s systems. Jassahmi sat to Relsor’s left, displeased as well, but for obviously different reasons. She would have to learn to quell her jealousy if he was to make good progress with the Jedi. As for Relsor, what displeased him the most about their captives’ rescue mission was the fact that the Jedi Lian had come and Relsor had not been able to create any illusions. Granted, it would have done nothing to Shadie and Knarf, nor to Brenum and Trylia, but he could have toyed with Fane and Talyc. And now that he had had a few moments to let it all sink in, these details bothered him. It didn’t matter though on the long term; he had them now.
He leaned an elbow on an armrest and rested his chin on his hand. He awaited the moment his Sith reported to him that the Jedi were secured. His Sith, the ones who could accomplish things; not the useless acolytes the Empire had provided him.
Something chimed and alarms began to sound in the ship.
‘What is the meaning of this?’ he demanded.
‘My Lord,’ said a Sith, rushing into the room, ‘there is an entire fleet of Republic ships that has just come out of hyperspace. All ships are armed and locked on us.’
‘You have got to be kidding me!’ said Perce. ‘Did the Jedi plan this too?’
Relsor punched a few keys in his chair’s armrest, sending commands to the bridge. The viewport transformed into a holoscreen that flickered to life, showing a massive fleet.
‘My gosh,’ said Perce, standing up. ‘Did they send the entire Republic? I’ve never seen so many ships in one place, save for the battle above Coruscant.’
‘You worked for the Republic,’ said Jassahmi, ‘and you never knew they had so many ships?’        Perce only shrugged.
Relsor leaned on one foot as he too stood, sticking his neck out to look more closely. Starfighters began pouring out of the ships. Many of the ships were as large as Relsor’s dreadnought. He turned to Perce.
‘Is the Supreme Chancellor one to negotiate or one to…’
His question was answered before he had even finished voicing it; the flagship shook as dozens of ships fired upon the it at once. Relsor had to hold out his arms to steady himself in order not to fall. A moment more passed. Relsor took a careful and slow breath.
‘Let’s show the Republic what my uncle left me when he died,’ said Relsor.
‘You mean when you killed him?’ said Perce.
Relsor’s lip curled into a smile. He sat back down and punched the commands into the armrest and waited. Within minutes, the superlaser turrets were following their targets and firing upon the Republic ships. One ship exploded, another was set to fire, crashing into a third, which shattered into pieces. The superlasers kept firing.
‘Are you going to send them a message?’ asked Jassahmi.
‘No,’ said Relsor. ‘I’m going to obliterate them.’
