Emmrich relaxes by tantalisingly releasing Rook’s tension as the two enjoy an evening of lovemaking.
Emmrich waved his hand about with a flourish. ‘Manfred, give us some privacy, will you?’
With a polite bow, the skeletal butler took his leave, shutting the bedroom door behind him.
Emmrich turned to Rook. ‘Now, my darling, let me help you release your tension.’
Rook, who sat on the edge of the bed, let out a small laugh. She peered up at him from beneath her eyelashes.
Emmrich took a few slow strides towards her and with gentle fingers, tilted her chin up. He bent and pressed a tender kiss to her lips. As Emmrich wrapped his arms around her, Rook leaned into the embrace.
Gliding his hand along her shoulders, Emmrich began kneading her muscles. When he spoke, his voice was a soft coo that relaxed Rook even more. ‘Let me help you release all of that accumulated tension from such a long day out fighting demons.’
Rook pulled away to give Emmrich an amused smile, ‘You were out there all day with me. What about all of your tension?’
Emmrich leaned further in, his lips grazing Rook’s neck, and whispered into her ear. ‘Perhaps tending to you is my way to release tension.’
An involuntary moan escaped Rook’s lips. Emmrich breathed out a satisfied sigh.
‘Perhaps hearing you moan relaxes me.’ He kissed just beneath her earlobe. ‘And I shan’t be satisfied until you are.’
‘Emmrich,’ Rook whispered.
‘Yes, my darling?’ Emmrich replied more matter-of-factly. He peered into her eyes before Rook pulled him to her, capturing his lips for a fervent kiss. Emmrich hum-chuckled as he deepened the kiss.
With a gentle push, Emmrich lowered Rook onto the mattress. He lay down beside her, propped on his elbows, one hand caressing the nape of Rook’s neck, the other travelling down to her bosom.
