Excerpt:

My eye caught a man who stopped dancing to stare at me, his hungry eyes roving my body, his mouth open just enough for me to see him lick his lips. By the way he was salivating, I assumed my quarry was into men — or at least into me.

His eyes shone green like the sea, though I wasn’t certain due to the lights around him. His face was more clean-shaven than mine, and he had smooth-looking porcelain skin, soft cheekbones, and dimples on the sides of his mouth, with lips alluringly red in the dim light and oh-so inviting.

I was caught in his gaze, everything around me growing quiet.

Few had ever had this effect on me before — but him, he would be fun to play with tonight.

Grabbing the edge of the counter, I hopped over, garnering a round of applause and whoops from the clubgoers, and I marched straight to my quarry. His eyes widened and I saw his face redden beneath the neon lights.

He was but a couple of inches shorter. I loved that. I could envelop him in my embrace from above yet still meet his gaze and claim his lips easily. I couldn’t wait to do both.

‘I need help spreading this saké all over my body,’ I declared. ‘Care to give a man a hand?’

If he could have drooled, he would have. He slurped, then blinked, before offering me a lopsided grin. I could see his gaze roving my chest — from the full moon Inyo that shone behind the indigo dragon, following the serpentine body of the dragon down to my beltline — before his captivating eyes met mine again.

He bit his lower lip, raising his hand tentatively.

‘Don’t be shy,’ I encouraged. ‘I won’t bite you . . . unless you want me to.’

‘Fuck,’ he exhaled, his herbaceous breath on my face. ‘I want you to bite me.’

Oh, that tightened my pelvic muscles and had me reacting in all sorts of wonderful ways, with tingles coursing through my body.

‘You want me to claim you?’

Grinning, I leaned in towards his ear, ignoring all the shouts of disappointment from the ladies, or the cheers from anyone else around us. I spoke softly enough for my words to sound like a whisper, loud enough to be heard, my voice a sultry purr.

‘Then if you’re good to me, I might reward you.’

Lore Snippet:

The Portal lies at the heart of the Darakön mountains, deep within the dragons’ lair. It is a portal into their celestial realm. Magic comes from there. So long as the portal remains open, magic exists in the world.

The drawback is that so long as the portal remains open, there will be those like Mirauk who will attempt to gain its magic.

If one goes through the Portal, one can gain immeasurable power. That is why the rule exists that only those wisest in magic may step through, but they must do so at the end of their lives, for they are not to return. Doing so would grant them such immense power that a living being should not possess, for it has the risk of corrupting their intent.

As such, two books were created to separate the most powerful spells in two, and only the wisest may have access to those books. The Book of Enchantment and the Complement Book contain the Portal Key Spell.

Mirauk wishes to exploit the Portal’s magic. He has already stolen one of the books. If he is successful, he will gain the power to dominate over all the world and force his tyranny on all its peoples.

Where the Stars Shine

Long ago, a being of pure evil attempted to gain power that only the celestial dragons possessed. The world became shrouded in darkness before this being disappeared and was forgotten. So long as the stars shine, the world may be protected from malice.

I am Celinka Serre, fiction writer of fantasy and romance. I began writing Stardust Destinies, an epic fantasy NA adventure with romance series, at the age of 19. It is one of my greatest achievements to this day.

I self-published Books 1 and 2, and now the time has come to publish Book 3, titled, A Sublime Search.

The Fight For the Freedom of Life

With Mirauk’s forces growing stronger, the evil wizard is gaining more power. Our heroes are scattered but not weakened, as they seek allies to help fight to protect their kingdoms, and to save magic itself. This war has been named the war for the Freedom of Life.

So that our five heroes can continue their journey, I must gain funds to pay for my editor, Cleo Miele, who edited Book 2 and the 2nd Edition of Book 1. I also wish to pay my artist, Sophie Brunet, who paints canvases of scenes for my book covers. Sophie is a friend and a talented painter.

Thus I estimate needing $2500 CAD. This should cover most of their costs.

Five Points of A Star

Niome, Meysah, Jimmy, Vigh and Boreth are the prophesied Five of the Star. The Dragon Prophecies foretold their coming and knew the challenges that awaited them. Niome was able to look into Mirauk’s gaze without becoming cursed by his malice. Together, they are stronger and shine hope to all their allies.

As our heroes trek the lands and face undefeatable enemies, I must ensure their story can reach the many. Publishing includes many tasks that take time to accomplish, and I cannot accomplish these without your help.

Stardust Destinies is but one of many books I have self-published, some of which under my pseudonym, for they are more mature. I have become accustomed to the process and am excited to bring yet another book to completion.
