“Low-key” Holiday What Is Love To You Challenge Answers
What Is Love To You has another challenge, and I accept it! I embrace it! Come to my bosom, challenge. (Okay, this is meant in a motherly way.)
Who I’d Love To Kiss
If this can be a video game character, I’ll say Solas (a character from Dragon Age who is an ancient elven god). He needs hugs. Poor guy tried to save his ancient elven people and caused mass destruction and turmoil instead. Now he thinks the only way to restore the old world is to destroy the current one, and he’s preventing himself from being with the woman he loves because he believes he must continue this self-sabotaging mission.
(Wow, I actually explained that in just one paragraph! I could gush about him for ages! — I’m not kidding — And in Dragon Age, ages are 100 years long.)
And I mean, just look at him.
Oh, does it have to be a real live person? In that case…
A Fiction Short Story for Writing Prompt “These Three Things”
Sebastian flicked the lighter he held before closing it again. Tapping his foot impatiently on the ground, he popped the top of the lighter open once more. He watched the flame flicker before he closed the lighter with a soft ping. He flicked it open again.
‘Will you stop that?’ Kevin chided.
‘What, I can’t help if I’m nervous,’ Sebastian retorted, as he continued to play with his lighter.
‘I swear, if you don’t stop that I’m going to take that lighter away from you.’
Sebastian rolled his eyes. He took a cigarette out and lit it, letting out a nice long puff. A car drove by the dark alley where he and Kevin stood. He leaned his back on the brick wall behind him.
‘Why did we have to have this meeting now, at this hour, and in this alley, of all places? We look like drug dealers!’
‘Dude, keep it down!’ Kevin sighed. ‘And blow that smoke in someone else’s face.’
‘Yeah, sure.’ Sebastian looked around. ‘Oh, wait, yours is the only face here.’ He sneered, puffing out into Kevin’s face.
Kevin pinched the bridge of his nose. ‘I swear, man, my patience is wearing thin.’
‘Your patience? This was your idea, might I remind you.’ Sebastian took another long puff and flicked his lighter again. ‘I feel like we’re going to be attacked any second.’
I love making love to my love, my husband. I also love writing characters who make love. At times, my Erotic Romance short stories reflect my preferences and turn-ons. At times they even reflect things I have done in real life.
And it’s funny, I used to be so uncomfortable when it came to asserting myself sexually due to sexual abuse.
Can you believe I once believed I wasn’t sexy!?
As I healed, I became more assertive, I dared to explore writing more sexual scenes. As I write more erotic scenes, the more assertive I feel sexually, and I realised it helps me heal. So the more I write about love, romance, and erotic scenes, the more assertive I become, the more I assert myself sexually and romantically, the more comfortable I am writing love, romance and erotic scenes.
It was in the manuscript of the second instalment of my Stardust Destinies novel series. The one I’m currently Typesetting.
I proof-read the story multiple times. I had written it by hand and proof-read it before typing it. I self-edited it, grammar checked it, SPELL Checked it (using Word), I used GRAMMARLY for crying out loud! I LINE EDITED IT.
It was my editor who caught it.
The Context:
