Relsor is another character from my Star Wars fan-fiction series, which takes place in the Old Republic era. Knarf is Shadie’s husband, human. Relsor, also known as Haar’elso’rothmor, is Chiss, and a True Sith.

Relsor & Knarf (Shadie series – Binky Ink – Celinka Serre)

As usual, for Knarf, I used a cosplay picture of my husband, slapped on the armour in Photoshop, used colour replacement tool, and some Puppet Warp and Liquify to get the armour and body in the position I wanted it to be.

For Relsor, I used a screenshot of a character I had previously created in SWTOR. The lightsaber Knarf holds was created with the rounded rectangle tool and a mix of outer glows on a Blade and on a Glow layer. The background is again a screenshot from SWTOR.

A simple image of Relsor, where I don’t remove him from the background and put him on another, is an actual screenshot from the SWTOR game. There is a reason he is captivity here. In the third image, he is in a new background, which I also altered with colour correction and lighting effects.

Relsor has got to be one of my more complex characters in this series, with many layers to him, secrets to be discovered, even my him, a complicated past. He’s the main villain in the series for may stories to come.

Agent Knarf and Talyc Kandera of Clan Kandera are original characters, and main characters, from my Star Wars fan-fiction, which takes place in the Old Republic era. Agent Knarf is Shadie’s husband, hence my husband cosplays as him. Talyc is Knarf’s best friend in the series.

My husband and I had a lot of fun taking a great deal of cosplay photos, in character, with various poses. I used images of an armour set from SWTOR in Photoshop to fix to his body, using the colour replacement tool to give the colours I wanted.

For Talyc, his armour goes through the same process but I created him in Dragon Age Inquisition. That’s right, he’s an Inquisitor to begin with. I had something very specific in mind for him, so I went in-game to create him with the DA elaborate character creation, and used screenshots of him from some recorded gameplay footage. I added the subtle scar on his nose in Photoshop afterwards.

In the image, Knarf and Talyc are on Mandalore, in one of the bunkers used for meetings. In actuality, it’s a screenshot from SWTOR. Putting these images together, mixing fanfic, game and cosplay really gives me the freedom to create the characters I want.

Brenum and Trylia are two of the various main characters from my Star Wars fan-fiction series which takes place in the Old Republic era. Brenum is human, a Jedi, and Trylia is Togruta. Both original characters. The Krayt Dragon is Brenum’s ship, named after the great desert beasts of planets such as Tatooine.

I used a screenshot from SWTOR as my background. I had created a Brenum character in SWTOR, named after the story Brenum and looking like him too, so I used a screenshot of that in-game character. I also used an in-game Torguta character for Trylia, except, I had to use the colour replacement tool to change the colour of her skin, eyes, lekky, face whites, and lekku whites. It was great practice, as it was the first time I used that tool. Placing Brenum and Trylia onboard the ship was the easiest part.
