Fane & Talyc, and Lian (SWTOR Fanfic Photoshop Experiments)

Fane and Talyc are main characters in the fanfic series. They are in a relationship. Here Fane is caring for Talyc.

I had to put in the bed into a screenshot from SWTOR. Both Talyc and Fane are characters I created in Dragon Age Inquisition and I placed armour from SWTOR on them in Photoshop, changing the colour of the armour. Getting Talyc’s armour at the right angle was more time consuming than I feel it should have been. Then I adjusted the lighting and colour for each of them.

This was one of the simplest ones to do. I created Lian in SWTOR specifically to illustrate him from this series. Lian is a Twi’lek Jedi Master, another main character in the fanfic series. For this image, I did not have to place Lian in a different background, I went in-game and put him in the ship and took a screenshot. Then I adjusted the lighting and colours since it was a little too yellow and a bit darker.

As always, I’m open to feedback.

Chapter Seven – Lady of the Crypt (Star Wars SWTOR Fanfic)

Warning: The following chapter contains scenes depicting torture and graphic violence, which may be triggering to some readers. Reading discretion is advised.

Talyc was in excruciating pain when he came to. He couldn’t even remember what had caused him to be in this much pain. The residual effects of the torture should have dissipated by now. His body felt numb. His face itched and he wished he could scratch it. Although he didn’t have facial hair that grew quickly or thickly, he had by now grown a semblance of…scruff. He knew it must be more than stubble, and it itched his face.
Relsor walked into the room. As he did so, Talyc could swear his chest tightened, yet Relsor gave no sign he was using the Force on him.

‘How are you feeling today, Talyc?’ asked Relsor. His smile gave it away.

‘What are you doing to me?’ said Talyc.

‘I figured you must be hungry, so I am feeding you the dark side. Best I ensure your energy is kept up, so the level of malady I am about to unleash upon you is going to increase.’

Talyc’s stomach lurched, he belched and he felt as though his insides were on fire. He felt dizzy, nauseated. He began to sweat on his face, yet his body felt cold. He let his head loll to one side. Suddenly, his hands balled into fists as he felt an intense pain shoot up his spine. It felt like needles were all over his body. Then that pain turned into the sensation of knives slowly cutting into him. He looked at his hands, where he felt the knife sensation the most, but they were not bleeding.

Talyc began to shake as his body began to cramp up. He belched again as the feeling of nausea increased. He panted, gasping for air, and his heart began to palpitate. His mouth was dry; he tried to swallow. Finally, he vomited, his sick projecting onto the floor in front of Relsor.

Relsor creased his nose and looked down at the puddle of vomit.

‘I think we’re done here for today,’ he said.

‘You’re sick,’ said Talyc.

Relsor cocked an eyebrow. ‘I’m not the one who just vomited.’

Demagolka!

‘That an insult of some sort?’ asked Relsor non-challantly.

Talyc’s disdain for Relsor increased. ‘It’s Mando’a for monster.’ He swallowed. ‘You use the dark side to cause sickness and pain. Why? What is the purpose of making me, your weak prisoner, sick?’

Relsor smiled one of those condescending smiles. ‘I was hoping for you to be broken when lover-boy, Fane, arrived. I want you to be so broken that it breaks him.’

Talyc felt so ill he couldn’t feel the disdain anymore, couldn’t even feel the defiance he usually felt towards Relsor. He was too weak physically, and weakening with each passing moment.

Relsor sneered. ‘I will break you, I will break him, I will break all of them. And then when they are all broken, Shadie will turn, and I will succeed where Kromus failed.’

Talyc did not know how he should feel about this. ‘Is he on his way then? Fane is on his way?’

‘He will arrive soon, yes,’ said Relsor. ‘I best ready the welcoming party. I wouldn’t want the Jedi to get the wrong impression and think I’m only going to take Shadie captive.’ He smiled and left the room.

Talyc closed his eyes. This is all my fault, he thought. Or was it? Maybe he just felt it was while in this state. He couldn’t even think straight anymore. And once more, he couldn’T help but feel he had failed his friends, had failed Fane, had failed his clan, and had failed Mandalore.

Relsor, Perce, and Jassahmi (SWTOR Fanfic Photoshop Experiments)

Relsor, Perce and Jassahmi are main characters (villains) in the fanfic series. Relsor is Chiss, Perce is human, and Jassahmi is Mirialan.

Here Relsor and Perce have been locked into a room and are none too happy about it. Using a screenshot from SWTOR, I placed two characters I created in SWTOR and simply adjusted the lighting on them.

Here Jassahmi stands before the group of Jedi-Mandos with her dark side imbued lightsaber on Relsor’s flagship. I used a character from SWTOR and I had to move her arm out, and widen her stance, and then adjust the colours on her.

Chapter Six – Lady of the Crypt (Star Wars SWTOR Fanfic)

The host of Jedi took a cautious step forward, holding their lightsabers at the ready. They were careful not to step on the skeletons. Knarf looked at Shadie, she looked focused. She turned to him, her face reflecting the green hue of her lightsaber; she held it as one blade. She changed it to her left hand and reached towards him to take his right hand. He did the same, switching his lightsaber from his left to right hand — Knarf was left-handed, though his training allowed him to be adept using both hands —  and he took Shadie’s hand.
Shadie took the lead a bit, but still held Knarf. They walked slowly and cautiously. They were perhaps midway across the long corridor when they heard the voice, recognising it from the previous whispers.

‘Who dares to trespass into my domain?’ No one answered, they simply kept on forward. ‘Speak, or be cut down with the power of dark side.’

‘I am called Shadie or Eidahs, I am the Lady of the Crypt, and I am accompanied by those with whom I share my power.’

‘Yes, yes, I can feel you. Come, come, young ones, come to my domain.’

He sounded hungry for power, for Force energy. Knarf held Shadie’s hand ever more tightly, as they all kept on towards the chamber. When they came to the door, it rolled open for them.

* * *

The room they entered was very large and circular; it’s ceiling, a dome. It was dimly lit by torches that looked ancient. A dark marble floor, almost black, lay in tiles that formed a circular low platform closer to the centre of the room, the rest of it was made of stone. There seemed to be a makeshift bed and some sort of encampment at the far end. In the middle of the platform, yet farther back than its exact centre, was a throne that looked like it was part of an altar. Shadie had never seen anything like it; nothing in neither Sith records nor Jedi archives had spoken of it either.

On the throne sat a cloaked and hooded figure.

‘You are the true Master of the Crypt, are you not?’ asked Shadie. She stood with the others on the platform; they still held their lightsabers aloft and lit. She made a quick curt bow of respect.

The being stood from the throne and took a step towards her.

‘No,’ he said. ‘I am its creator.’

He cast off his hood to reveal his face; he was a Pure-Blood Sith, one from the line of the ancient Sith species. His face was of a burgundy-red, several protrusions stuck out, as this species often had on their faces, with several golden rings. His hair was black and long.

‘You have passed the trials, Darth Shadie, Jedi Eidahs, Lady of the Crypt; you have gained the power I have bestowed upon you, the power I allow all masters of this place to wield. It is not borrowed but earned. Have you earned your right to hone this power?’

‘I have done all I could to prove my worth,’ said Shadie. ‘I was chosen by the protector of this place, the Sphere, long before I ever claimed it. It chose me for my power, chose me because I am both light and dark. I have created abilities no other, Jedi or Sith, has ever performed. I believe all this earns me this right.’

‘Very well,’ he said. ‘Now you have claimed it, you have gained power. You realise that having this power will not take away the power this Crypt’s former master wields?’

‘I understand that, yes,’ Shadie replied, nodding.

The being stared at Shadie for some time, then he turned to stare at the others, one by one.
