Shadie & Knarf on Tython (Cosplay & Fanfic Photoshop Experiments)

Shadie and Knarf are main characters from my Star Wars The Old Republic fan-fiction series. They are also my and my husband’s alter egos. Of course, given the series, the characters have become a bit of something of their own.

For them, my husband and I cosplay as our characters. However, since we don’t have Mandalorian armour, I slap on the armour in Photoshop.

Given I don’t always freshen up the green in my hair close to my scalp, I used Photoshop to make the whole head of hair green, down to the roots. Practical thing, Photoshop is. I also took the liberty of removing some blemishes and eye wrinkles. In this story, I am still a bit younger than I actually am.

Jedi Shadie on Tython (Shadie Series – Binky Ink – Celinka Serre)

For the background, I use screenshots from SWTOR, that I took from running around Tython.

I’ve become adept at adjusting his glasses. I select the part that sticks out, erase what’s inside the glasses, so the backgrund is showing instead, and then I add a new layer with a colour similar to the light in the background and lower its opacity so it looks like the glasses are more legit from that very background. And I remove glare and such too.
