New TRON Steemit – Justin Sun Moving Into The House Or Just A New Landlord?

TRON_x_Steemit

What I Want

I just want to be able to continue to post freely, whatever I want, whenever I want, however I want.

I want to continue to hold the copyright to my content, because I do have copyright certificates for some of the things I post here, and as a writer and author, that is important to me.

I want to continue to earn income from posting and curating, because Steemit has been a viable source of income for me. I am ill, I cannot work a regular job, and I am working hard on my creative projects to be able to monetise them. Posting on Steemit is part of that monetisation. We are all deserving of an income on Steemit.

Steemit small

I want to continue to feel that my voice on Steemit has value and that I as an individual amidst many, have and add value to Steemit. Many witnesses, curators, other creators, and even the devs, have always, mostly, worked hard so that we each feel valued. I want that to remain.

I want our voices to be heard. There have been some changes that came out of the blue in the past and some things that did exclude the smaller content creator. I want that to change for the better and not for the worst.

New Landlord Or Is He Moving In?

There are two possible scenarios that I see here, analogies, if you will.

Scenario 1: Some things I’ve heard make it feel as though Justin Sun is moving into the house. He just bought the house we were already paying for and maintaining daily. Now he’s moving in, changing the tapestry, removing carpets, changing the paint where it doesn’t need to be changed…

ORScenario 2: Is he simply a new landlord. He’s coming in to inspect the property we’re living in, assessing the repairs that need to be made, taking everyone’s needs into consideration. Changing paint where it’s peeling off only, letting us choose the colour, adding improvements to the foundation to make the house sturdier during cold winter periods, or during droughts. Willing to backtrack and change something back if he realised he broke it more, but fixing only what is already broken and not changing too much that which is working perfectly fine…

The Keys to Meditation – My Mindful Life Contest Entry on Steemit

White and black keys lay before me,
but the image fades.
My fingers move across the notes,
but my brain does not think.
My ears hear music and rhythm,
and that is all there is.
It is here, it is now.
It is.

When I was six years old, I wanted to learn to play the piano, so my mother paid for lessons. While I learnt a lot of the techniques, which I don’t practice enough today, I noticed something when I played that has stayed all the way to today.

I am more relaxed,
I am less anxious,
I let go,
I gain focus,
I gain clarity,
I recharge,
I clear my mind,
I meditate.

Music has always been a way for me to get into a meditative state, mindfulness meditation, as they say. I was a bit more rigid when I was younger, less able to improvise on the piano. Taking drumming lessons helped loosen that up a bit, as we played beats and became those beats and rhythms. We listened to each other and played off each other.

How I Made It To Anarchapulco 2019!

Until the moment we left the house, there was still a possibility that we not go, that we not make it there. The reason, good ol’ friend ANXIETY!

Me & Frank 10.jpg

Last year, I wrote a postabout what I was planning on doing to make going to Anarchapulco possible. And I did it! I actually did it, I made it! So I want to share with you all the HOW it was possible, with a bit of my process.

Frank and I both knew we wanted to go. We wanted to hear some of the speakers in person, not just in stream, we wanted to meet our Steemit buddies (and don’t worry, I will share all of that and more in posts to come), but I had no idea if I would be able to go. At the time, CPTSD was less prevalent, so that wasn’t going to be a problem, but the burnout was making me struggle with my energy levels (still does), and there was the issue of massive anxiety. I had not taken public transportation in 5 years, had not taken a plane in 20 years, was afraid to leave the house, as in leave the house on its own, felt unsafe outside my home, and all that was super draining. PLUS, all my food allergies and restrictions, and all my ailments and such were adding to the anxiety.

She Who Shall Feed (Steem Monsters Haunted Spider Theme)

Come join me and follow the adventures of the Haunted Spider from Steem Monsters through musical motions on the piano. With three movements, the Haunted Spider takes up her new form and destiny as she searches for her loved ones and searches for prey, desires to be free and desires to feed. “She Who Shall Feed” is vaguely inspired by the Steem Monsters main theme music (just a few hints here and there), and is an original composition.

You can follow along by simultaneously reading the Haunted Spider’s story, and probably be able to identify which part of the story inspired which part of the song.
