As it was revealed in the previously released chapter of The Future of the Force, Awgro is related to Talyc, and his sole purpose is to kill him so he can pass the trials to gain mastery of the Crypt. Awgro was introduced as a potential ally in previous fanfic novellas, but is set to be the new antagonist for the group of Mandalorians and Jedi, and their actual Sith allies.
Using depictions I created for each character (Awgro fully in SWTOR, and Talyc’s head from Dragon Age: Inquisition with armour from SWTOR), I did my usual placing of the characters on a SWTOR screenshot background. I played around with Awgro’s face, tilted his head, and adjusted his eyes and mouth to fit the scene. I also moved his arm and curled his fingers.
Talyc was easy to place. I used a position from a character I’d recorded, same for the head. However, I had never done Force Life Drain before. Turns out it’s not so different from lightning, but with different settings, more blurring, and some dodge and burn usage in Photoshop. Then I colourised to get the red colour. The dodge and burn tool made it possible to have the lighter and darker tones in the filaments.
As always, I’m open to feedback.
