The War of the Lions Orlesian Civil War Part 1 (Dragon Age Lore)

The War of the Lions of Dragon Age lore, also known as the Orlesian Civil War, took place in the Dragon Age, between Empress Celene Valmont and Grand Duke Gaspard de Chalons, as both vied to be the ruler of Orlais, through cunning and manipulation. Briala attempted to secure political positions for the elves, and Michel de Chevin’s true bloodlines were revealed, while Imshael, one of the great demons of the Forbidden Ones, was released.

Aveline Knight of Orlais (Dragon Age Lore)

Aveline was an abandoned child, left to die in the wilderness, and raised by a Dalish clan of elves. She was strong and fierce and knew many forms of combat. She was the first woman to enter a grand tournament in Orlais and is the reason women in Thedas today are allowed to be Knights. Learn more of her in this Dragon Age lore.
