Steem Monsters Basics 1: Game Components, Main Stats + How It Works

Today I want to get into some of the basics for Steem Monsters for anyone who is new to the game. In this first part, I’ll be going over the game components, main stats for monsters, as well as explaining how the game works.

Steem Monsters is a fully decentralized, digital collectible trading card game built on the Steem blockchain! It’s fun, interactive, and there is so much lore being built around the monster characters, soon there will be even more to this game.

She Who Shall Feed (Haunted Spider Theme) (Steem Monsters)

Come join me and follow the adventures of the Haunted Spider from Steem Monsters through musical motions on the piano. With three movements, the Haunted Spider takes up her new form and destiny as she searches for her loved ones and searches for prey, desires to be free and desires to feed. “She Who Shall Feed” is vaguely inspired by the Steem Monsters main theme music (just a few hints here and there), and is an original composition.

If there was one monster for whom I would compose a song on the piano, it had to be the Haunted Spider, given I have a personal and more intimate relationship with her, being her writer. I know her better than I know any other monster, I understand where she comes from, what she has become and where she is heading.

You can follow along by simultaneously reading the Haunted Spider’s story, and probably be able to identify which part of the story inspired which part of the song.

Steem Monsters (Strategy Card Game Promo)

Steem Monsters is a Fantasy Strategy Card Game with RPG elements, with a team of talented artists all contributing to creating this epic and beautiful game.

In typical Binky fashion, I dressed medieval and put together a promo video to help the game gain traction, showcasing the music and sounds from the game, featuring a few recordings and still images of the cards in-game.

Of course, since I’m involved in the game, I want to promote it, but if you like fantasy, strategy, card games, Magic the Gathering style games, you’re bound to like Steem Monsters!

Steem Monsters Has A Kickstarter!

I’ve been getting more involved with Steem Monsters, from participating in contests to write the story for characters, and having some selected, to becoming a voice actor for these characters, as well as offering some assistance for other things related to the game.

Well, now, you can get involved too! Steem Monsters has a Kickstarter! You should go and check it out! Maybe there’ll be something that’ll peak your interest. I mean, if you like MTG, then you’re bound to enjoy Steem Monsters. It’s a fantasy interactive card game, what’s not to like? There are a ton of talented people involved as well as some fun perks.
