The Evanuris killed Mythal and there is a possibility that Solas, who wishes to tear down the Veil and restore Elvhenan, is doing it for Mythal. If he got his hands on the Circulum, would he use it to bring her back?

The BioWare canon for the Inquisition is that it is disbanded, and there are many who interpret the choice as disbanding either way, while I see it as publicly in tact or publicly disbanded.
