We All Have Narcissistic Traits

We all can have traits of narcissism at some point in our lives, either from circumstance or situation or by happenstance as part of our development. One or two traits is very different than having all the traits and being afflicted with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Outside the Triangle (Victim Aggressor Savior)

We often see this paradigm of the Victim-Aggressor-Saviour in today’s society, be it in film, media, or amongst ourselves. We don’t always realise it when we see it, and we aren’t always aware of it when we take on one of these roles ourselves. It’s not that being either of them is such a bad thing, because sometimes it is necessary to take on one of these roles depending on the circumstances before us, but being stuck in it can be detrimental to our mental health. The goal is to be outside the triangle.

Expression and Freedom
